The soldiers they fight day and night
For our freedom with all their might
They fight to protect the USA
For that let us altogether say:
God bless the soldiers
As we wait for them come home from Iraq
Let us not forget and lack
To say: “Let the country side ring
Who all cheerfully sing”
God bless the soldiers
I wrote this poem to honor the men and
women who are fighting in Iraq.
